My very talented friend,
Margie,
is making the most delightful floral decorations
using plastic soda bottles!!!
Her home
on the beach at Sabanilla...
is a wonderland...
an art gallery...
of so many items she's made.
I spent the afternoon with her last week, helping her make a bohemiannie! bag.
This is one I made awhile back - getting ready to list on Etsy. |
She'd already done the crazy quilting and in my opinion - ended up with a really awesome bag!
Yay Margie!
Create Your Life,
Not a bag...but I did list it on Etsy last week. |
annie!
What a creative friend, her garden and decorations everywhere look great.....ybf ann.
ReplyDeleteAnd that was just a small sampling!
DeleteLooks like you had a delightful day with a friend. There's nothing better than that! (except a cool looking bohemiannie!bag!)
ReplyDeleteWe did have a wonderful day! Thanks Robin!
DeleteLove your bag you made awhile back! So pretty. and Margie's bag is awesome too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Annie. I love how every bag turns out so totally different.
DeleteLove the soda bottle flowers they are so bright and colourful!! How inventive, Iv'e been trying to work out how she made them, what type of paint did she use to coat the plastic?
ReplyDeleteThanks Morag! I asked the same question...and she told me she simply used acrylics! She didn't treat the plastic under or over and the flowers in these pictures have been there for about 2 months. Who woulda thunk it?!?
DeleteGreat bag, annie!. Your friend looks so happy with it and I love her colourful flowers, what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheila. :) I think she was - and is - simply delighted!
DeleteThe two of you are quite a talented pair! Congratulations - teaching in Houston - that is something to be proud of and shout about!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Pat!
