I've come to love and appreciate and feel loved by those of you that read my blog. I also feel like I've gotten to know many of you personally and I really value your friendship.
Without getting all sappy and everything...I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the many comments of encouragement, support and downright...well...love...that you've given me.
I'm participating in Quilting Gallery's CELEBRATE BACK TO SCHOOL DAYS - QUILTERS BLOG HOP PARTY this year.
Since most of my pieces are quilted, I figure I qualify.
I'm giving away...to one of my followers...my bohemiannie! bag pattern (see this post for pictures) so that you can carry everything you need to class...(or wherever you happen to be going and want to look groovy) including this...
Notebook cover front |
Notebook cover back |
hand made by me notebook cover. It measures roughly 8 x 11 when it's folded - holding a notebook. Sorry, the notebook won't be included to help save shipping costs.
Notebook cover side |
I won't be in the States until the end of September...so the gifts won't be awarded until after September 23rd but I will ship internationally. I'll mail the notebook cover and email the pattern. I'll contact the winner via email based on the information I have when I click on your profile. If you don't have an email address on file, I'll put a comment on your blog. If I don't hear back in 3 days, I'll draw another name. My give-away will run from August 25th through September 23rd (which happens to be my baby boy's 30th birthday and the reason we're going to the States).
Peace, love and all things groovy to you and yours...
And again
Thank you! :)
Create your life,
annie!
PS (These are all detail shots of the book I finished this week. There are only three labeled shots above of the notebook cover I'm giving away).
Your books are such a curious craft for me. Do you show any finished ones? I know this is somewhat of a business for you, so maybe you only show peeks and details to create an interest in taking a class. Let me tell you, that works! I so would take your class! :-) I think maybe your postcard might already be awaiting your arrival.
ReplyDeleteThanks Annie! I've shown lots of books on my blog and will eventually get better pictures of this one taken. If you type 'book' into the search bar above it'll take you to more pictures than I'm sure you'll ever want to see!
DeleteI'm going to be quilting those two baby quilts for the next week or two in what little spare time I'll have…so don't / won't have a lot to show. That's another reason why I'm dragging out posting this book. :) Plus…I'm trying to keep my posts shorter!
My class is full…hot diggety dog…but I would LOVE it so much if you could be there.
My son is away practicing whatever it is they practice before he deploys to Afghanistan in November…but as soon as he gets home, I'll get him to open my mail and take pictures. I can't wait to see it! Thank you so much!
Love all the details you put into your work, amazing. I will, promise, get round to doing the bag pattern I have, I just need to find the right material...and it will be hand sewn, (owing to the fact I dont have a machine..lol). Hope the family are all doing well. ybf ann.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Ann. If I had to sew them, I'd never make another!!! But…maybe if I didn't have a machine. We're all doing very well. Claire is an easy, sweet natured honey pot! Sophia is tickled pink with her as we all are!
DeleteThanks so much!
I'm not an Ann/Annie !!!! but I love your work and I would love to enter your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteLOL! You don't have to be an Ann or Annie! It's so funny that I've met more artists with my name online in the two years I've been blogging than in my whole life!!!

DeleteGorgeous bags. I love your creativity and vision. I can follow a pattern, but have a hard time picturing details to add to enhance the pattern... I guess that explains the difference between a sewer and an artist. Thanks for the oportunity
ReplyDeletebonnielarson58@gmail.com
Oh, thanks Bonnie. I have a hard time following a pattern these days…but I did it for many years…so I admire that you can do that. For enhancing...I think just asking "What IF" is all you need to do. And practice. And try everything. And most of all have fun! I used to go to yard sales where I would find a very cool necklace for a dollar…and it fit just perfectly along one side of the bag. Anything goes with these!
DeleteThanks so much for visiting my blog- I loved everything about this post- your joie de vivre really shines through every line. I am going to add you to my list of faves so we can become friends. Have a happy time in the States and happy PPF. My 'baby' is 36 and my other one is 41.And I have just retired after 43 years in the classroom! Yikes!
