Crow Doll ornament inspired by Kelli Perkins

Davida and Trish

Inspired by my first trip to Colombia, I came home and made this quilt for my son-in-law Pedro. It's translated from a picture I took in Puerto Colombia where he lived for awhile ...and near where we live now.

gelatin mono print, deconstructed screen printed, thread, paint, stamps, stencils & oil pastels
back side of above - free motion quilted
Painted on my wall out back. These flowers are about 6 feet tall.

made for Davida

yep- another one

This was all covered up eventually with other techniques but I liked the quilting on satin. Love practicing free motion stitching.
This is the satin above after I added all the elements.

I sold quite a few of these.

Some of my painted patchwork fabric inspired by Traci Bautista. Made bags from all of it.
one more time

Trish and Davida brought snippets from Boca Bargoons & we challenged each other to make something with them. I arranged mine on the scanner...printed them on acetate...glued it to the board...and wove a metal piece for the center.
One of my first paper/fabric journal quilts. Given to my Winge.

My first bohemiannie! hootchie mama.
My first bohemiannie! bag. I sold it off my shoulder the first time I wore it!

A crooked picture of a little quilt I made in a workshop with Debra Danko.

bohemiannie! bag - I painted an old quilt and then wrote a story on it...with paint, then free motion stitched the fabric before making it into a bag.
