Nope - that's not Jennibellie in this picture |
I didn't think I had anything to show today...but went and took some pictures anyway...
this is some of the trim I'll be using to bind these little quilts |
I'm loving the way they're turning out and just need to trim, bind, label, and add something to hang them by. And possibly a few beads. That might wait for the car ride from Florida to Virginia though. The beads that is.
Those are for 3 - THREE - Great Nieces!!!
And of course the circles are still patiently waiting for me to complete them...and the scrap bowl is beginning to overflow again
Other than that...here are more pictures of the love of my life...
Grumpy and I took her to the mall for Trick or Treating and it was quite an experience. The crowds were overwhelming for the three of us but Sophia enjoyed people giving her candy...
We ran into her friend Kalina from down the hill...
But I think the Christmas trees held her attention best of all...
That is...unless we passed a mirror...
Where she was taken by surprise and delighted every time she saw herself in her princess costume that her favorite annie! grandma made for her!!!
Happy November Ya'all.
Yay!! Annie I'm so pleased your joining - I just sent you a message on flickr to try and tempt you over to the darkside! Whoop whoop!!!! I did it as a distraction from Nanowrimo if I'm perfectly honest a full novel is freaking me out somewhat. Haha Sophia looks adorable, I love the picture of her examining her sweet, looks like she's ensuring she's getting a decent hauls lol much love Jennibellie xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennibellie! Off to an appt or I'd write more!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is one cute princess! I've seen several blogs today talking about that Art Everyday challenge. I work on art almost everyday anyways, so that wouldn't be a problem for me. But the blogging about it everyday...sigh...don't think I could handle it. Love your quilting stuff as usual!
ReplyDeleteYour Sophia is so cute, I think she in love with that costume!
ReplyDeleteLooking at those circles....;-)
I envy you, can you bead in the car? uau! It made me feel sick every time I travel by car, let alone crafting or reading, so sad!
So are you joining in at AEDM as well... more sewing and beautiful circles are in my future if you are... still scared and can't see you changing my mind, so am going to live and sew vicariously through you xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful baby girl you have there.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are having a great-great-nephew from my little crazy child.
Thank you my Tami! It's a good thing monkeys go either way!
ReplyDeleteThank you! She IS my little cutie pie! One of the first things it said in the rules of AED was that rules were made to be broken...so while I'll make art every day...I might not be able to blog about it! But I'll try. And thanks again!

ReplyDeleteThanks Gio! She does love her costume! You should see her dance around in it! :) Poor baby...my daughter can't do anything in the car either. She even has to sit in the front seat usually to avoid becoming car sick. I can do most anything. Read, bead, sew, sleep, sing with No problem.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracey...Thanks! and Yes, I did put my name on the list since I DO make art every day! Those circles are going to have to wait until I get back from the States though because every time I turn around, I think of another thing I HAVE to do before we leave. :) You just keep doing your fabulous paintings and mixed media art and I'll let you off the sewing hook.
ReplyDeleteSophia is too cute! I LOVE the picture where she is sticking out her tummy and admiring herself in the mirror! LOL Those baby quilts look very interesting! I’d like to see them in more detail. (Too bad I’m not a baby, I’d love one!)
ReplyDeleteThanks Robin! That's my favorite of Sophia too! She would be running by a mirror and it would stop her in her tracks. Of course my camera wasn't ready when the best shots were there...but I've got them in my head. And hey...they're only baby quilts because I'm giving them to babies! More pix later.
ReplyDeleteIt's unanimous!!!She's adorable!!
ReplyDeleteHOW do you keep everything so tidy?? My bench always looks like a bomb went off. No organizational skills here.(that's why I am
searching thru little sacks :)
Love seeing your pictures. Have a wonderful trip to the USA, returning with more great pictures....ybf...Ann.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gayle. :) She is adorable and I'm so happy you think so. :) I think I need to write a post on organizing because...just because I get asked that a lot.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann! I'll have extra memory cards and batteries galore!
ReplyDeleteOh Annie I so love the shots of her looking at herself in the mirror and pushing her belly in, fabulous. xox Corrine
ReplyDelete:) Thanks Corrine! I love those too!!! I missed so many mirror shots fumbling for my camera!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blog link love, thanks for adding your blog! Happy November to you too, I can't believe we are at the end of the year again! Love the princess trick or treat costume it's pretty. Your sewing looks wonderful, you have been busy!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Tracey! I'm doing my best to 'redeem the time' because the older I get - the faster it goes!
ReplyDeleteYou think there's nothing much to see on your desk? Wow, so wrong! The crown - is that a crown or does it have a base - a princessy pot to put things in? The panels are gorgeous, you are definitely influenced by your beautiful suroundings.
ReplyDelete:) Thanks Julia! That IS a crown. :) Two friends and I got together to each make one before I left the USA. We would wear them when we got together for a play day...and now, when I miss them...or need a lift...I'll put it on for the fun of it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Love your Blogspot..peeped about a lot! And your WOYWW photos are terrific..So Very pretty, the talent one sees while visiting WOYWW is amazing. Have a wonderful week.
