Precious Little will begin kindergarten in a couple weeks and we went with her and mommy to buy uniforms. ALL schools here (that I know of) require uniforms.
The campus is beautiful, clean, well equipped, friendly and just gave me a very good feeling.
Her daddy and mommy work at the university next door and the new building...where daddy might...maybe...I'm believing will...have an office...overlooks the school. How wonderful is that?
Precious Little 2 will be here very soon, so we'll still have our hands full but I'm feeling a little...I don't know...sad maybe...nostalgic...I don't know. Sniff.
It's with pride and prayers that we send her knowing she'll excel.
We're making the most of each day.
She made these outfits for my troll dolls from itty bitty scraps and lots of tape. All on her own!
What pure joy THAT was to watch!
Create Your Life...
Endings and beginnings...life is full of them. Those trolls are the best dressed I've ever seen! Quite creative and the tape adds a modern fad.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth, Annie. She really does have the best dressed trolls…no doubt. Look out Barbie!
Deleteso so sweet, best wishes to the little one on the beginning of her adventure,
ReplyDeleteThank you Laurie. We are all looking at it as her newest adventure. xoxxo
DeleteLove the troll outfits! The apple doesn’t fall far from her Grandma! She will have a blast in kindergarten! (and the watermelon toes aren’t bad either! LOL)
ReplyDeleteBig smile. Thanks Robin. I LOVE that she finds so much joy in the playroom…AND that she's at an age where she does her thing - while I do mine - right next to each other. We had watermelon toes for 2 weeks and loved it.
DeleteBig changes indeed, but very exciting ones methinks. That last picture is priceless!
ReplyDeleteYes...exciting and wonderful for all of us. I love that last picture too. She was so proud of herself!
DeleteA little fashion designer in the making!
ReplyDeleteIsn't she though!!??!!
Deletethose little troll outfits are sooo cute!! Treasure every minute. :)
ReplyDeleteOh we are! Thank you Karah!
DeleteCute tiny feet, big things ahead. Adore those troll dolls, haven't seen one in a long time! xox
ReplyDeleteThank you Corrine. I feel so blessed to have those feet in my life! The troll dolls were collected after my mom died. She had lots of them and I still kick myself for not keeping any. So now I've got my own little collection which Sophia is enjoying.
Deleteuniforms are such a good idea. I wore one in grammar school. It was a lot easier getting ready in the morning!
ReplyDeleteI remember getting sent home because my mini was just too short one day…but yes…uniforms are so much easier. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteShe has a sense of fashion, color and shapes! From what I¨ve seen around your blog these skills are a family trait. :)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes on this new adventure.
Thanks Paula! You should see the Barbie clothes she's working on now!
DeleteMy son wears a uniform to school too. It makes back to school shopping much easier. Wishing your granddaughter a great school year. Thanks again for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Brandi! And thank you…I'm sure she'll love school.

ReplyDeleteAnnie! Sweetie, Hey I'm following you now. Thanks for following on my blog. I can't believe we didn't do that a long time ago, but when I looked....
ReplyDeleteI recall those bittersweet thoughts/feelings of letting a little one loose into the world. Now others will influence her as well. And she'll love the new adventure. Great toenails. Looks like Sophie is taking after grandma in her art. Keep encouraging her. It was my mom who kept praising my art and pushing me on.
Hugs from Ukraine, Coleen
Thanks so much Coleen! I thought I WAS following you. Oh well…that's fixed now. :) Good to hear from you.
