Thank YOU!!!

I want to say a HUGE thank you to three lovely ladies who took time to mention me in their blogs in the past couple weeks. I admire each of you and love your art and am honored to share space with you!!!

 Ellen Anne at...

Robin at...

and Ann at...

All three have lively, interesting blogs that will delight and inspire you.

And now...for a bit more inspiration...random pictures from my computer...

Jerry and I were boating in Boca Grande Pass and came across a Sea Ray party!

A long boat trip - for us - provided a perfect day at Venice Beach, FL.
We used to love to boat up to Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, FL for lunch and shopping.
One of my all time favorite pictures...Fisherman's Village - Punta Gorda, FL.
Cloppenburg, Germany - where my daughter lived for a couple years and I got to visit because she had emergency surgery.
Germany - but I can't remember which town!

Detmold, Germany - where my 'German' daughter (she was our exchange student for a year) was living at the time.

  1. Awww, thanks annie! And right back at ya’! Love your art too! Thanks for the shout out.

  2. I'm honoured and blushes from here...Thanks so much for the mention, and I see more inspirational photos!....the rays are amazing, thought at first it could be clouds or a quilt, that must have been a sight to see. :)

  3. Beautiful pictures, all, but those sea rays are just amazing.

  4. You're welcome Robin! And thank you again. I not only love your art but your funny, interesting stories should be published. I do wish I was an editor...you'd already have your advance half spent!

  5. You're welcome Ann! And...thank YOU again. Your sensitive sketches and watercolors capture the magic in everything you paint.
We were skimming across the water at about 35mph (I don't know knots) and I was at the bow of the boat and yelled, "STOP", because I wasn't sure of what I'd seen. Thankfully the rays swim fast and got out of the way. When Jerry turned the boat around, we felt exTREMEly fortunate to find the school of HUNDREDS again and followed them until they just got plain pissed at having to run away from the boat - and left the area.

  6. Thanks again Caatje! And the pix of the sea rays is the best of many I took that day. They WERE flat out amazing.

  7. Wow. Seeing those rays in the picture is incredible, it must have been something to see them in person. Thanks for sharing.

  8. You're welcome waggonswest! It was an awesome experience!
