Postcard Art Challenge

With the encouragement of my friend, Sheila, I'm submitting my drawing to Sunday Postcard Art. It began as an 8X10 art journal page...which I took to LunaPic and resized to 6X4. NOT an easy task for me. I tried to do the adjustment in iphoto first...since that's what I have on my computer...but I guess I'm really challenged because I couldn't even find an area in 'help' to walk me through it. Oh well. I did have QUITE the challenge, even in LunaPic and was so glad when my son-in-law popped in and helped me with it. EEE GADDS! So, hopefully this will qualify...as the above picture was DEFINITELY a challenge for me to get it to the correct size!!! But, hey, I learned. Mainly, I learned that I won't try this again for awhile. I'd rather make an entry of the correct size to begin with. HAHAAA!

Create Your Life,

annie!

PS - I'd really love to say that this is my design...but I was looking at a Christmas card and trying to duplicate it. Both pictures are shown together here

    1. Thanks Char! Don't think I'll go there again anytime soon. Too busy researching 'stuff' for Etsy to spend ALL that TIME on the computer. Which I already do enough of!!!

  9. Such a beautiful painting, Annie. Wish my Winter looked like this - in the UK it's just very, very grey.

    1. Thank you. Maybe that's what the flower gardens need there to thrive?!? Where I live, it's non stop sun, heat and humidity...but I think I prefer it over cold and grey.

    1. Thank you, thank you Liz! I was told when I was little that I couldn't draw...and believed it until I was in my 50s!!! So...now I attempt to draw but usually from a picture. Still don't have the confidence to sit down and draw from memory!

  21. Annie, this is lovely! I know what you mean about resizing. I can crop pictures, but when it comes to having fewer megapixels, forget it. I have no idea what they're talking about. I have to hope the program will do it for me.

    1. You understand! Thank you. :) If I could have plugged 6x4 into the program...no problem.
