WOULD YOU BELIEVE...

I have more gifts that I'm going to post about?!?...

but I still haven't gotten pictures of them!

My camera batteries have decided all of a sudden...

not to hold a charge.

BOTH of them started acting up at the same time.

My last camera took regular AA batteries so it was pretty easy.

This one came highly recommended and I was on vacation...

not in the mood to shop...

when the old one died.

So...

while I have been taking pictures here and there,

the Canon Battery Pack NB-5L

definitely isn't worth the $40 we paid for it.

We got an extra so I'd always have power.

Enough bitching.

Although...

for whatever reason,

I feel like having a bitch fest.

Instead,

since I believe thoughts become things,

I'm going to concentrate on the good ones.

But dang do I feel like

Never mind.

Let me tell you how much fun it is to practice free motion stitching instead.

Totally takes me out of a funky mood.

Create Your Life,

annie!

  2. I agree with Ann! Both about the batteries and the FMS! The stitching is FABulous!
PS I feel your pain about the batteries. My old camera took AA's also, now this one has a special rechargeable battery pack. :(

  4. Beautiful, just beautiful fmq'ing! I'm not sure the problem. I'd much rather have the rechargeable (like I have with a backup) batteries...didn't have the backup charged and ready?

    1. Thanks Annie. :) The batteries both quit taking a charge in the same week! They used to last for days...or weeks and now...minutes...or hours if I'm lucky. I probably need to blame it on the electricity in this building and not the battery pack.

  5. I'm an old-fashioned country girl, still trying to make friends with technology (i.e. smart phones, digital cameras, computers). They're wonderful when they work perfectly! But when there's a problem, I get soooo frustrated. I feel your pain! Glad things are better now. :)

  6. I believe Thoughts Become Things too Annie, lol! I think that would be a great quote for artwork or crafted items. Beautiful fuchsia color fabric. Season's Greetings!

    1. OMG...if I let it out...Colombia would sink into the ocean. I seriously hold back in the written word when I'm feeling like this. Unfortunately, my hubby and daughter get to hear way too much of how I really feel. But I agree...it does make me sick to hold it in...which is why I'm working to keep crappy thoughts OUT! And I've been AMAZED at how many people are having emotional 'hard times' in the past few weeks. Collective conscious?

  10. Your stitching is just beautiful. What incredible control you have over the machine and fabric. I'm going to have to send my next project to you to quilt!

    1. Thank you! :) You know...I would be honored to quilt a quilt for you....but you must know that I don't undo mistakes. Just don't. And...if you look at those pictures closely...you'll see where the stitches are so close and tight that they make a rather rigid line which isn't soft and cuddly. Oh...also...I could not even think about doing anything big like you just did. LOL!
